If you have been listening  to the show, you will know that I have been moving and moved to a place that can have my own studio room. The main thing that stopped us was having no internet until now, so no way to get the show to you. The other was having the builders in, which is still happening actually. Overseas online adult companies, would be penalized for failing to take adequate measures to ensure their U.K. customers are adults.

Payment processors would receive a blacklist of all companies making pornography available without proper age verification. That verification under U.K. laws requires credit and debit cards or other definitive identifying information.

Processors would be responsible for ensuring that no British customer could make a payment Uk adult site and worse yet any site that doesn’t have age verification will be black listed.

Some companies escape ATVODs noncompliance by moving overseas while continuing to make the same extreme content available to anyone in Britain.

“Banks will deploy lots of arguments as to why they shouldn’t be the gatekeepers for this,” Johnson said. “But following the money and making it difficult for these sites to earn it would be a powerful step towards reducing children’s exposure to hardcore pornography.”

Companies that target UK customers  are still potentially in breach of U.K.’s Obscene Publications Act.

ATVOD investigated  23 adult sites over Rule 11 violations in the past year. Thirteen of them  sites were found to be in violation of Rule 11 and were fined.

There are two websites owned by Playboy, an TV channel and a adult website version. They claimed it  allowed users to access hardcore videos and images without having acceptable controls in place to check that users were aged 18 or over.

Pornographic websites are regulated by ATVOD. Because they provide access to videos in a similar way to adult services broadcast on television – and fall within UK jurisdiction, and any site operated from within the Uk will be on ATVODs radar, who then report back to Ofcom.

It was said because of the current rules enforced by ATVOD, that Playboy’s failure to protect children from potentially accessing these sites was serious, repeated and reckless.

UK rules state that online video providers must put in place safeguards around 18-rated adult material to prevent minors from getting access to it.

But the Strictly Broadband homepage loaded without a warning as to the nature of the site’s content.

ATVOD does not have the power to levy fines for non-compliance, and so it referred Strictly Broadband to Ofcom for further investigation.

Ofcom said that the “gravity and duration” of the breaches, and their potential impact on minors, meant that they were “serious, repeated and reckless” in nature. It therefore imposed the £60,000 fine payable to HM Paymaster General.

Strictly Broadband has now placed a warning on its homepage, suggesting that it is prepared to comply with Ofcom and ATVOD’s rules.

A lot of people wanted the basics, including web space, a domain name, establishing the look, adult web design and how a site is promoted. Ok when I started out as a producer 9 years ago I had to learn as I went along, looking back over that time my work has trebled in quality. Basically I wish I knew then what I know now. There were a few sites out there that could offer advice however, reading all this advice in different places scattered about the internet can be a lot to take in. Given what has happened on a recent forum this week with a producer and a model I thought this was the perfect time to do this podcast. This is aimed at new producers or anyone who is thinking of becoming one. All I can talk about and advise on is what I did, I must be doing something right as I am still here making films now and still have a good reputation. Me and Scarlet discuss how I first started out, how I built up my material, sexual health certs, how to go about booking models, what you need to make the scene legally yours and everything in between. This is how I went about my daily business in the adult industry and what I have told a few people over the years when I offered them advice. I have been getting to know Eden Mayhem a while now on Facebook. Over the many months I have slowly been getting to know her more and more and I have to say I like what I see. This lovely, kind, caring and friendly lady is also a pornstar. A lot of people would not think it, but she loves sex and she says she is in the right job. She has been dancing for years and has only in the last 6 months started starring in porn films. Being a producer myself for a while I know how nice people can be along the way as you meet and shoot new people, but Eden definitely stands out out to me. We have both expressed interest in working with each other, we get on well and we both seem to be on the same page in terms of the content we would shoot for my site. I love her look, which she claims is just me, but I happen to think because of this she stands out and isn’t trying to be like the typical pornstar. The fact she is easy on the eyes too will also help her go along way. I have spoken to Mandy Cinn a few times on facebook and in e-mails etc. It was only a matter of time before she did a podcast and I must admit I think it’s only a matter of time before we work together too. She is Eden Mayhem’s cousin and they are both working in the porn industry. Mandy was lucky enough to land her first boy-girl porn shoot with Killergram. This is something that usually models have to build up to after doing a few smaller scale shoots first but no she was lucky enough to be contacted personally to do a shoot with Killergram. Mandy is happy to work with a producer/photographer if they have a work history but tends to get lots of work with the bigger companies and being highly sexed is definatley a bonus in this job and Mandy loves it all. Well I have to say I was looking forward to chatting to this sexy blonde for a while now, ever since she came on the scene. She seems to know what she wants and how to go about her job very easily which is always a plus from a model points of view. In this interview we discuss her not so long ago early beginings aswell as what she likes doing in her shoots, the people she has worked with and we get to here her talk openly about her life outside of the porn industry which is nice as that’s the idea of the podcasts to find more about the person and the people in it.

Another busy model who works away from home alot, and even in the age where everyone uses a mobile she was still hard to get hold of. When I can’t get hold of a model for a podcast that’s a good thing on her side because it means she is busy working. Here is a Podcast by Terry Stephens for UKAP before I was a member, and this was to be my final words on my career in the industry as this interview was done  just after I announced I was leaving the industry in November 2008. It’s clear I had worked myself to the point of burn out, I didn’t have the love I had or have now regained since coming back.

It really is a very different attitude towards the industry, that people who know me know I was full of ideas and full of energy. Thank god although working just as hard, If I want time out for me I am going to take it. I am just approaching my work in a different way, and while still being 100% invested it no longer rules my life. Being in this industry is a life style, however making time for eating, sleeping and other special people  in you life is also very important.

So here is me speaking about why I left the industry, not fully knowing that I would later miss it, realise I was at the top of my game and good at what I did compared to the other avenues I explored in my time away.

I again want to make this clear this was when I was at my worst, and totally knacked and tired of the industry, and what can I say, 2 years is a great healer.

Ben Yates is a fellow producer who’s website (www.mybeautifultease.com) has only started up January of this year. His early work and struggle as a producer brings back a lot of memories for me personally, I started out the same way with nothing. He certainly sounds like he is going on the right path for success and he shares his thoughts with me about working in the industry as a producer, what he enjoys, what he finds hard or dislikes. Again this is a good interview with two producers who share a very similar goal and problems as we continue to work in the Uk porn Industry. Ben is definitely one of the new breed of rising producers who brings his own fresh ideas to a trade he has learnt himself by scratch and is now ready to be in this industry for the long hall. He is a very focused very professional young man as you will find out when you hear this and he was the same age as me when I started out in 2002.

I kept in touch with her via Face book, surprising what you can find out about someone just from status posts.
